William P Helmes

William Peter Helmes, age 84, passed away on December 25, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on May 21, 1940, William dedicated over three decades of his life to a successful career as a real estate agent, alongside contributing his skills to Home Depot and Sears.He was also a committed member of the Army Reserves, serving with distinction and pride.William was a devout Catholic, actively participating in the community of St. Aloysius Gonzaga and St. Antoninus. His faith played a significant role throughout his life, guiding his actions and commitments.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jan (Grady) Helmes;daughter, Julie Runyan; son, Liam Helmes (Deceased);Grandchildren, Olivia (Kyle), Hannah, Mia, Bella, Tyler (Divine), Sarah, and Peter Elana; Great Grandchildren Colton, Sadie, and Sophia; Siblings, Bob Helmes and Kay Robben; Many beloved friends and devoted dog, Midgee.William was preceded in death by his brothers, Tony and Ted Helmes, and his parents, Anthony and Clara Helmes. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at  St. Aloysius Gonzaga on  Wendseday January 15, 2025 at 1030am

 In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice. Bill's favorite expression was "I've got my eye on you." God had his eye on Bill when he called him home on Christmas Day. What a gift he was to all that knew him.
