William L. Engelkamp

William Lester Engelkamp, aged 79, passed away on June 6, 2025, in Cincinnati, OH. Born on August 8, 1946, William was a cherished member of his community and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

William attended Western Hills High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. His life was marked by a profound commitment to his family and an enduring love for simple pleasures, such as visiting local casinos and playing lottery tickets.

He leaves behind a loving family: sons James William Engelkamp and Joseph Wayne Engelkamp; daughter Tracy Renee Wharton (nee Engelkamp); grandchildren Ares Vincent Wharton and Sage Draco Wharton; Sister Virginia Cummings; and niece and nephews Christopher Cummings, Bobbie Reed, and Donna Reed. William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diane Engelkamp (nee Tate).

A visitation to celebrate William's life will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 12pm until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at Radel Funeral and Cremation Service, 650 Neeb Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45233.
