William G. Abel

Loving life partner, father, grandfather and brother passed away on October 15, 2025. Predeceased by his parents Ralph & Margaret, and brother Gerry and sister Carole Lambert. Survived by his loving partner Nancy Ruprecht, son Geoffrey of CA, daughter Rebecca Abel-Kennedy(Adam), son Mark(Kathleen Williams) of MA. His grandchildren Emily Abel-Rutter and Converse Kennedy; Charlotte and Willow Abel. Siblings Thomas of NY, Barbara(James) of IL, James(Joanne) of NY; brother-in-law Robert Lambert of NY; nieces and nephews Timothy, Michael and Peter Lambert; Cynthia Mack, Pamela Abel, Jaclyn Conlon; Matthew & Mark Cannan, Megan Jones. Special Friends, Scott Ruprecht and Todd(Natalie) Ruprecht.

Calling hours will be held 10am-12pm Monday, October 27 at St. Joseph Church in North Bend, w/Mass immediately to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Aquinas Institute-Abel Family Endowed Scholarship, Rochester, NY.
