On Friday morning 2-2-24, at 5:11 a.m. Heaven gained the most precious angel ever, our son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, Godfather and amazing friend, Tim Rieman. Tim had the most generous heart, he was caring and kind and would help anyone out at any time. Tim graduated from Oak Hills High School in 2011 and continued his education in Criminal Justice at Northern Kentucky University graduating with his bachelors degree in 2015. Tim continued to work various jobs until he found his dream job at Proctor & Gamble working as a Transportation Planner. Tim loved going to work and his coworkers quickly became like family to him.
Tim loved sports of all kinds and he could tell you all the stats for just about any team or player. He would quiz his family at various times to see what their knowledge was – he did this in a joking manner and his quizzes and our response always brought so much laughter to all of us. Tim had the most amazing sense of humor and had the most handsome smile. He loved to make people laugh and always brightened up the room when he walked in. Tim loved his family and friends so much.
Even in death, Tim continued to give to others. He was an organ and tissue donor. With Tim’s generous gift he will help save others and he will live on forever in the lives of those he helped.
Tim was the son of Robert (Rob) and Melora (Lora O’Shaughnessy) Rieman born on 4-4-1993 at 12:52 p.m. He was our perfect amazing baby boy. Two years later, Tim became a big brother to Emily Rieman Riggs and they quickly became the bestest of friends. A bond between brother and sister that they both cherished so very much.
Tim leaves behind his parents, Rob & Lora Rieman and sister Emily Rieman Riggs (Justin). In February 2023 Tim became an uncle to Leon Vincent Robert Riggs. Leon and Tim soon had a strong bond – Tim was the best Uncle. Tim also had the most craziest cat who Tim loved very much, Wilbur “Bilbs”.
Tim was also survived by Uncle Mike (Margie) O’Shaughnessy, Aunt Debbie (Gary) Schmeh, Aunt Cindy Pat) Delaney, Uncle Jim (Beth) O’Shaughnessy, Aunt Donna (Kevin) Galvin and Aunt Linda (Ray) Broderick. He is also survived by his cousins Shannon (Andy) Panceza, the late Ryan O’Shaughnessy, Amber (Izzy) Wilson, Tricia (Drew) Henkenberns, Brandy Schmeh, Joey Schmeh, Matt (Sara) Schmeh, Megan (Justin) Chachoff, Katie (Jeremy) Osborne, Danny O’Shaughnessy, Kelly (Reid) O’Shaughnessy, Shaughn (Rachel) Galvin, Brian (Jackie) Galvin, the late Christina Galvin, Jacob Galvin, Allie (Alex) Henn, Eddie (Aly) Broderick. He was also survived by numerous second cousins.
Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents Don and Mary Rose O’Shaughnessy, Jerry and Betty Rieman. Tim loved his grandparents and although his Grandpa O’Shaughnessy died when Tim was four years old, he always remembered him. Tim’s babysitter, Lorie Turner, lived across the street from my parents and everyday Grandpa O’Shaughnessy would come over and buy rocks from Tim. Tim thought that was the greatest. He loved playing cards with Grandma O’Shaughnessy, beating her at war all the time. Some of their games would last for days where Grandma would leave the cards lay on the table until Tim was able to get back to her house to finish up the game. Tim would spend many summers in Florida with his Grandpa Jerry and Grandma Betty enjoying being spoiled for the summer, fishing, going to Tampa Bay Rays games, Disney, and other amazing adventures.
Viewing for Tim Rieman will be held on Thursday, February 8th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, Cincinnati, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 9th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius on the Ohio, 6218 Portage Ave, Cincinnati, OH. Tim will be cremated after the services. The family will be hosting a celebration of life for Tim Rieman immediately after the mass at St. Simon’s Convocation Center, 825 Pontius Road, Cincinnati, OH.
The family is asking anyone attending the viewing and/or funeral to please wear a sports Jersey if you have one. Tim loved collecting sports Jersey’s and we believe this will be a great way to honor him.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made to Brad to the Bone Foundation in honor of one of Tim’s Friends, Eric Hengehold who lost his father, Brad, in 2023 to brain cancer, gliopastoma. Brad to the Bone Foundation, 5539 Windmere Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45248. Bradtothebone.org.
