Stanley E. Johnson

Stanley E. Johnson, 88, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026. He was born on July 17, 1937, in Cincinnati to the late Daniel and Sophia (née Miller) Johnson.

Stanley married the love of his life, Janet, on June 27, 1959. Together they built a life centered on family, raising their five sons and creating a lifetime of cherished memories.

He is survived by his sons: Gary (Wanda) Johnson, Larry (Connie) Johnson, Kenny (Bridgette) Johnson, Charley (Wendee) Johnson, and Tommy (Lori) Johnson. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Max, Danielle, Justin, Curtis, Cassie, Connor, Cooper, Kraig, Kirby, Rudi, Alexa, Carter, Jalynn, Jessica, Jey, and Kate, as well as 14 great-grandchildren. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Daniel Johnson; and his sisters, Cecelia Macke, Jeannine Currens, Marlene Bender, and Sophia Dugan.

A proud graduate of Western Hills High School, Stanley dedicated much of his life to his work. He was a proud member of Electricians Local 212 for 70 years and also belonged to Local 912 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers for 40 years.

Stanley and Janet spent time living in Fort Myers, Florida, where they formed many lasting friendships at the VFW. During that time, Stanley proudly served as Commander of Post 274 from 2008 to 2009.

Above all, Stanley’s greatest joy in life was his family—especially the time he spent with his beloved wife, Janet, and their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place at Radel Funeral 650 Neeb Rd. on Monday May 4, 2026 from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm
