Roger A. Messemer

Roger A. Messemer, age 90, passed away peacefully of natural causes with his family at his side. He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl of 49 years. Roger is also survived by his niece Jodi (Scott) Shipp and his nephew Jason (Carrie) Shively. Also survived by his great nieces and nephews Melanie, Alison, Charlie, Ryan and Mae.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Louise Messemer, his brother Ronald (Artie) Messemer and nephew Jon Messemer (survived by his wife Jane and daughter Leah). Roger is also survived by his daughters Debbie (Steve) Gruenemeier and Beverly (Art) Canales and their families.

Roger was born and lived his entire life in Cincinnati. He worked at Siemens for 45 years before retiring. He was an avid fan of Ohio State University football. He also loved playing golf.

Visitation will be held at the Radel Funeral Home on Monday July 13, 2026 from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon.
