Patricia A. Herzog, 86, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2026.
Born on June 17, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Pattie spent much of her childhood as a proud Navy Junior, moving throughout the country with her parents, Dr. Robert Bradshaw and Elizabeth Adams, as her father served in the U.S. Navy.
Pattie found joy in playing tennis and golf and took great pride in caring for her yard, which often looked as though it belonged in Better Homes & Gardens. She had an incredible knack for fixing just about anything, and if something was broken, family and friends knew Pattie was the one to call. She never met a stranger—her warmth, compassion, and genuine interest in others made everyone feel welcome. She was always ready to listen, offer encouragement, and lend a helping hand.
Pattie was a devoted wife to both Jack Prudhomme, who was declared Missing in Action during the Vietnam War, and later to Raymond "Big Ray" Herzog, to whom she was happily married for 58 years. She was the loving mother of Robin Burns, Buck Herzog (Karen), Katie Galbraith (Giles), and her late son, David Prudhomme. She was also a proud and devoted grandmother to Billy Burns, Jack Herzog, Ashley Galbraith, and Sydney Galbraith, each of whom brought her immense joy and love.
Pattie was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Robert Bradshaw and Elizabeth Adams; her husbands, Jack Prudhomme and Raymond "Big Ray" Herzog; her son, David Prudhomme; and her siblings, Sarah Moran, Jane Fenton, and Bob Bradshaw.
Pattie will be remembered for her generous heart, resilient spirit, quick wit, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and compassion will continue to live on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation will take place at Radel Funeral Home on Friday, July 10, 2026 from 5:00-7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Victory Church, with a celebration of life to follow in the OLV Convocation Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Pattie’s memory to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597 Cincinnati, OH 45263-3597 (via check). Please include "In Memory of Patricia Herzog" on your donation.
