Norman W. Wegman, age 88 of Cincinnati, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 25. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Patricia (Doll) Wegman; 3 children David (Lisa) Wegman, Cathy (Paul) McCarthy, Steve (Lori) Wegman; 10 grandchildren Kevin (Kelly) McCarthy, Amy Duwell, Lisa (Doug) Adams, Sharon (Krofton) Owen, Katy (Mike) Combs, Julie Mastin, Joseph Wegman, Benjamin Wegman, Ethan Funderburk and Noah Funderburk and 9 great-grandchildren Ashlee, Caylee, Connor, Camden, Mason, Allison, Isabelle, Brady and Jacob; brother-in-law Robert (Bob) Doll, sister-in-law Carolyn Doll; cousins Kenny (Beth) Ryan, Karen (Joe) Bass and Danny Ryan; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mother Norma Robinson, Stepfather Gordon Robinson, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law Veronica and Milton Doll, daughter Susan Duwell, grandson Michael Wegman, grandson-in-law Donny Mastin; brothers-in-law James (Jim) Doll, and William (Bill) Doll; sisters-in-law Jean Doll and Margie Doll.
Norman graduated from Purcell High School in 1951 and served in the United States Air Force from 1951 – 1953. He served as a Staff Sergeant, Cryptographic Communication, for the 4th Fighter Interceptor Wing during the Korean War. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Victory Church. He served with the Color Guard with The American Legion Post #534. He also coached 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade football for Our Lady of Victory and St. Dominic schools.
Visitation will be held on Saturday November 5th from 9:30am until 10:30am held at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd. 45233. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Victory Church at 11:00am
