Mary C. Wells

Mary Carol Wells (nee Schramm) passed away on April 30th, 2025 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 24th, 1934. Mary Carol was married to Frank A. Wells on August 7th, 1954, who preceded her in death on December 22nd, 1992. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Schramm, along with one sister Fay Barron, one dear brother-in-law, Fred Hotel, and son-in-law John Schaffer. She is survived by her children Karen (Jay) Ghaffari, Frank Wells Jr., Darlene (Steve) Townsley, Wendy Schaffer, as well as eight grandchildren, Alexander Ghaffari, Heather (Todd) Caldwell, David Ghaffari, Josh (Michelle) Schaffer, Jake (Allie) Schaffer, Kelli (Jerry) Fields, Lindsey (fiancé Jake Braun) Schaffer, and Emily Schaffer., and three great grandchildren Berkley, Isabella, Sophia. Mary Carol has one surviving sister, Janet Hotel, a brother Jack Schramm, and a sister-in-law Sheila Schramm, many nieces and nephews; other living relatives and friends.

Mom loved music and was an excellent dancer. She enjoyed performing and dancing for the residents of Bayley Place. Mom traveled throughout the world, always eager to share her travel experiences with others. She was involved in taking courses at the Life Learn program at the University of Mount Saint Joseph. Some of her studies included history, learning French, and technology. Mom loved life and being with others. Mom lived her life with joy and happiness. Her light and positivity will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45233 held on Tuesday May 6, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.
