Lena M. McEdwards

Lena M. McEdwards, 86, of Cincinnati, OH passed away February 21, 2024. She was born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada on June 6, 1937 to Amos Backs and Mildred (Nee) McNulty Backs.  She was one of fourteen children. Lena was preceded in death by her loving husband, Calvin "Bud" McEdwards. She is survived by her four children, Gary McEdwards, Sandra Surber, Debbie Bagot, Julie Kessler, and their families. As a young couple, Lena and Bud traveled from Canada to the United States to start their new life and chase the American Dream. They lived in Chicago, IL, Madison, WI and then planted their roots in Cincinnati, OH to raise their family. She had a fulfilling career in customer service and banking. Her greatest joys were traveling, cooking, bird watching, playing games, and spending quality time with family.
