John H. Myers

John Herbert Myers, affectionately known as "Barney" or "Jack” passed away on April 16, 2024, at his home in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on February 20, 1938, to Wendelin and Mary (Auer) Myers in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Ann (Nienaber) Myers, and their children Christopher (Donna), Kelly (Jerry), and Todd (Caroline). John also leaves behind a legacy in his grandchildren: Katrina, Jacob, Sophia, Joshua, Noah, Luke, Madison, Taylor, Lucy, and Addison. His great-grandchildren, Smith, Van, and Pixie further enriched his life and brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his sister Wilma and brother Fred, as well as his sisters-in-law Mary, Kim, Patricia, Kathy and Marty.

John will be remembered for his sense of humor, friendly and outgoing personality and his kind heart. John was an accomplished and skilled craftsman working in pattern and model making and ran a successful business for 30 years. John served in the US Army 82nd Airborne from 1958 until 1961. John had a passion for carving, painting, structural design, Bengals Football and his family. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23 from 5-7 PM at Radel Funeral Home at 650 Neeb Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45233. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 24, at 11 AM at Our Lady of Victory Church 810 Neeb Rd., Cincinnati Ohio 45233
