Jack grew up in Cincinnati with his brother Jerry always around that was until he met his soulmate Carol at a Passion Play. It was LOVE at first sight. The story goes they could not get married until Carol turned 19. Carol turned 19 May 1st they were married May 2nd!
Their love continued and showed through having 7 children and loving each one like they were the only one in the family… until grandchildren came then they were at ever grandchild’s event from sports, to church, to school activities. He was known by all of the grandchildren’s friends as Grandpa Jack.
The Lammers’ Seibel Lane home was always filled with love celebrating every holiday, Summers on the blacktop apron, Winters all fitting into the cape cod house. They always made room for the next family member to join in the festivities.
Jack served our Country in the Naval Reserve 1950-1954 and Army from 1954-1956. While in the Army, Jack and Carol left Cincinnati for a short time as Jack was stationed in California, where their oldest was born. Upon returning to Cincinnati Jack joined General Electric in Evendale where he was employed for 41 years.
Through the years, they were active parishioners of Resurrection, St. Teresa of Avila and Our Lady of Victory.
Beyond his children, Jack and Carol’s legacy undoubtably left its mark on the world.
He will always be remembered for his smile, laugh and love for family and friends.
He now joins his love of 70+ years, Carol.
