Janice Irene Lowry

Janice Irene Lowry (née Boese), age 88, passed away on September 14, 2026. Born on December 11, 1937, in Aurora, Indiana, Janice grew up in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and later worked as an administrative assistant. Janice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harvey Lowry Jr., with whom she shared 58 years of marriage until his passing in 2017; her parents, Robert Boese and Marion McKain Jackson; and her brothers, Robert Boese and Eric Jackson. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Kathleen, Elizabeth, and David (Kim); her grandchildren, Kyle, Jacob, and Mitchel Fisher, children of Kathleen; Kourtney and Brady Witham, children of Elizabeth; and Ryan and Tyler Lowry, children of David and Kim. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchild, Auden, child of Mitchel and his partner, Alexandra Thompson.

Janice’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured time with her children and grandchildren and loved being an active part of their lives. Some of her happiest moments were spent taking her grandchildren to the park and attending their school activities and sporting events.

She had a special love for gardening and took great pride in tending to her flowers and plants. Janice also enjoyed reading, shopping, and spending time with friends and neighbors. Warm and social by nature, she enjoyed the company of others, but family was always closest to her heart.

Janice will be remembered for her devotion to her family, the love she shared so freely, and the many simple and meaningful moments that will remain treasured memories for those who loved her.

Visitation will take place on Saturday September 19, 2026 from 930am until the time of the funeral service at 1130am at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd.45233
