Jacob C. Nagel

Jacob Christopher Nagel, age 33, of Brookville, Indiana, passed away at his home on July 26, 2025. Born on September 26, 1992, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jacob brought joy, laughter, and kindness to everyone who knew him.

He was proceeded in death by his grandmother Wanda Nagel and grandfather Charles Barnett.

He is survived by his son, Zander, whom he loved very much. He was the beloved son of Sandy Sand and Chris Nagel, and the cherished grandson of Jake Nagel, and Adel Barnett. He was a proud brother to Ryan Barnett and Alexander Arszman and a dear nephew to Layna Nagel, Dina Barnett, John Barnett, Dan Barnett, and Jason Barnett. Jacob also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews who meant the world to him.

Family was everything to Jacob. He spent countless cherished moments with those he loved, often lending a hand, sharing a laugh, or just being present in his uniquely goofy and generous way. He especially loved working alongside his dad in the garage—most fondly on his red truck—going fishing, and creating things with his hands.

Jacob had a deep appreciation for tattoos and metal music, and an incredible talent for drawing. He was known for his huge heart, creative spirit, and ability to bring laughter to even the toughest days. His warmth and willingness to help others made him a friend to many.

Jacob's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Jacob by doing something kind for someone else—just as he would have.

A memorial gathering will take place at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd. Cincinnati OH 45233 on Thursday July 31, 2025 from 5pm until the time of the memorial service at 7pm
