Jacob "Jack" Joseph Witt, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, of Cincinnati (Delhi), Ohio passed away peacefully in the early hours of May 7, 2022.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Diane (Dettmer) Witt. Beloved children, Sean (Carisa) Witt, David Witt, Jason (Diane) Witt, and Holly Witt. Devoted grandchildren Josh, Alexis, Maddox, Lily, Jessica, and Alyssa Witt, McKayla and Matthew Witt – Listermann, and Cannon and Sage Kartye. Beloved sisters Sandy (John) Ameling, Becky (Dave) Larkins, Nancy Gonnella, Sue (Tom) Lowe, and Peggy (Keith) Finch. Cherished nieces and nephews Meredith (Mike) Milbourn, Andy (Jennifer) Larkins, Aaron (Vanessa) Larkins, Allison (Kyle) Kees (Goddaughter), Adam (Milissa) Larkins, Andrea and Nick Gonnella, Jacob Roberts (Godson), Zachary Finch, and many great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. Jack was preceded in death by his faithful parents, Jacob and Sera Witt, and his adoring niece, Amy Fultz-Bundschuch.

Jack was born on September 5, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He happily grew up in the suburbs of Cincinnati where he attended Elder High School and The University of Cincinnati. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, leading and supervising major road, bridge, and hospital projects with prestige.

He served in the Vietnam War where he earned many medals and honors, including the Bronze Star, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Sharp Shooter M-14 Medal, Two Overseas Bars, Good Conduct Medal, and many other honors, awards, and ribbons as well as commendations for his dedication and bravery. Jack was in the 25th Infantry Division of the United States Army and proudly served his country in Cu Chi, Vietnam where he survived being shot at, fighting in the jungle, and his Infantry getting bombed. He was an honest, loving, kindhearted, good soul who has never met a stranger. Everyone he met has adored him. Jack was a leader in life and a devout Catholic. He fought the good fight in Vietnam and in life.

The family will receive visitors on May 17, 2022, from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Radel Funeral Services, 650 Neeb Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45233. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 P.M. on May 17, 2022 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1175 Overlook Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.
