Georgia Ann Lohmiller (nee Holbrook) passed away on August 19th, 2026 peacefully and surrounded by family. Beloved wife of Frank L. Lohmiller of 59 years. Loving mother of Frank S. (Kristy) Lohmiller, Jeffery (Jess) Lohmiller, Scott (Missi) Lohmiller. Cherished grandma of Mackenzie (Tim) Kent, Connor Lohmiller, Bella (Trevor) Estep, Teya Fugett, Milaney Lohmiller, Evan Fugett, Bryce Lohmiller, Cannon Lohmiller, Brooklyn Lohmiller. Dear sister of the late Jean (Jerry) Walls, Steve (Jean) Holbrook, Diane (Jerry) Carr, Linda Jo (Bob) Cline, Laura Holbrook Gosnell, Anna (late Tim) Todd, Jeff (Laura) Briede, Mike (Tracy) Briede, the late George Michael Holbrook, Scott (Sarah) Holbrook, Michelle Holbrook. Wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her late mother Peg Briede, father Edgar “Popo” Briede, Aunt Ida Rust, biological father George Holbrook, and grandma Mary.

A kind soul, caring eyes, and a smile that could light up any room—she was a woman who made an unforgettable impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.She loved her grandchildren with every ounce of her heart. Most weekends she could be found watching her grandkids playing sports, going from ball fields to gyms, she proudly was cheering from the stands. Her other love was her husband Frank. Frank and Georgia were inseparable, walking hand in hand everywhere they went. A lifelong love story that started in the classroom in sixth grade. She loved playing poker with friends and family and enjoyed trips to the casino. But for her, it was never really about the cards or the games—it was about being together, laughing, and enjoying the company of the people she loved.Her early life was marked by trauma and hardship, but those experiences helped shape the strong, fearless woman she became. She earned the nickname “Bulldog”—a name that perfectly captured her fierce spirit, determination, loyalty, and competitive nature. She possessed a wisdom far beyond her years and had a remarkable ability to face life head-on.If she wasn’t jumping out of a car to save her own life, she was jumping into another to save someone else. She was, without a doubt, our SUPER HERO. 

She also found great joy in the water. She loved fishing, swimming, and boating—from days spent at Brookville Lake, to relaxing in her own pool, to countless hours at Delhi Swim Club. The water brought her a sense of peace and happiness. Above all else, family was everything. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by the people she loved, creating memories, sharing laughter, and simply enjoying life.She was our protector, our storyteller, our cheerleader, our Bulldog, and our SUPER HERO. Her love will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever, carried gently by the waves of every life she touched.

Visitation will be held on Monday August 31, 2026 from 5 PM until 8 PM held at Radel Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday September 1, 2026, 10:00 AM at St. Domonic Church. 

A beautiful soul, wonderful wife, amazing mother, caring grandmother, friend for life, and faith that God has a plan for all.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an organization dedicated to helping children fight cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
