Georgia Ann Lohmiller (nee Holbrook) Lohmiller passed away August 19th 2026 peacefully at her home surrounded by family. Beloved wife of Frank L. Lohmiller of 59 years. Loving mother of Frank S. (Kristina) Lohmiller, Jeffery (Jess) Lohmiller, Scott (Missy) Lohmiller. Cherished grandma of Mackenzie (Tim) Kent, Connor Lohmiller, Bella (Trevor) Estep, Teya Fugett, Milaney Lohmiller, Evan Fugett, Bryce Lohmiller, Brooklyn Lohmiller, Cannon Lohmiller. Dear sister of the late Jean (Jerry Walls), Steve (Jean) Holbrook, Diane (Jerry) Carr, Linda Jo (Bob) Cline, Laura Holbrook Gosnell, Anna (late Tim) Todd, Jeff (Laura) Briede, the late George Michael Holbrook, Scott (Sarah) Holbrook, Michelle Holbrook. Wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews, preceded in death by her late mother Peg Briede, biological father George Holbrook, father Edgar “Popo” Briede, grandma Honeymeyer.
A kind soul, caring eyes and a smile that would light up the room. Loved her Grand kids 40+ 11 with all her heart. Enjoyed interaction with friends. Always willing to lend a hand. Never met a stranger or shy away from anyone. Experienced a life full of laughter and love. Experience an early life of trauma and hardship. She earned the nickname “Bulldog” long before her grandkids came around. A fierce competitor, lover, wisdom of knowledge well ahead of her years. If she was not jumping out of cars to save her own life she was jumping in another to save someone else. She loved playing poker with friends and family or going to the casino. It was always about bringing people together to enjoy one another’s company. She was our SUPER HERO. She loved watching sports. Especially baseball. She was always visible at countless games. Especially her grandkids. She loves her REDS. A competitor like no other. She enjoyed fishing, swimming, and boating. From Brookville Lake, relaxing in her own pool, or countless hours at Delhi Swim Club. She loved the water. She always had an adventurous side and was always willing to take risks. Family was always the most important part of it all. Her tranquility in life was the blue water of the ocean and the sounds of life. May her peace lie in the waves of life.
Visitation will be held on Monday August 31, 2026 from 5pm until 8pm held at the Radel Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday September 1, 2026 at St. Domonic Church.
