It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our family patriarch, George R. Freudiger on October 4th, 2020 in Cincinnati, OH. Born on December 22nd, 1940 in Dayton, KY to parents Margaret (nee Winstel) and George G. Freudiger.
George was extraordinary to all he touched. His life’s work was the community of family and friends he shaped. George took immense pride in each one of them.
George is survived in legacy by his siblings Betty Freudiger (nee Smith), Raymond & Sherry Freudiger, Thomas & Mary Freudiger, Carol Pretty, Margie & Paul Powers, Lavonne Macke, Diane & Ray Buller, Joanie Freudiger, and Robert Jetter: his beloved Joyce Guy: his children, Mike Freudiger, Mark Freudiger & Amy Hester, Greggory & Nancy Freudiger, Deborah Sweeney; his grandchildren, Jon & Julie Freudiger, Brittany Freudiger & Brad Thacker, Bryan & Sheena Freudiger, Michael & Kathryn Freudiger, Kristen & Thomas Hellkamp, Kyle Freudiger, Jennifer & Cameron Dierig, Maggie Freudiger, Anna Freudiger, Jake Freudiger, Emma Luke Nate & Hannah Sweeney; his great grandchildren, Connor Camden Aksel Freudiger, Brody Cooper Gabriella Hellkamp, and Crew Cayden Dierig.
George is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Freudiger; his brothers William & James Freudiger, Don Pretty, Ed Macke; his sister Joyce Jetter.
George’s self-started business and passion, GeoGraph Industries, is survived by his children.
Mass of Christian Burial at St. Lawrence Church, Warsaw Ave, 45205 on Monday, October 12th, 2020 at 10:30am with interment and graveside prayers at St. Joseph Cemetery W 8th and Seton.
