George E. Ferkins

It is with great sadness and love that we announce the passing of George Edward Ferkins at the age of 78 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 4, 1947, to the late Russell C. Ferkins and Lenora M. (nee Herbstreit) Ferkins. George was a devoted and loving husband, survived by his wife, Roberta, of 41 years.

A friend to many, he was a teacher in Indianapolis, and an insurance adjuster for many years. George had a great love for travel and the theatre. Deeply cherished by those around him, his passing has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends. His spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing to all, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do. His light will shine forever in our hearts.
