Edward (Eddie) Bruce Carota also known as “Cracker”. Born and raised in South Fairmount, formerly known as “Little Italy,” in Cincinnati, OH. Passed away on June 27th, 2022, from a stroke.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1st at 10:30 A.M @ Radel Funeral on Neeb Rd. in Delhi. Father Westerhoff of Cincinnati Archdiocese will be officiating the funeral services @ St. Antonio’s Catholic church shortly after at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow the funeral @ St. Joseph cemetery.
Eddie was born on July 30th, 1957. He graduated from Western Hills High School and after years of dedicating himself to his family business Beppo’s, he went on to work for the City of Cincinnati for 30+ years, retiring in 2021. Eddie had various interests such as metal detecting, scrapping, and especially arrowhead hunting. He was also a proud supporter of everything Italian and Donald Trump.
Eddie is survived by his one and only daughter Jenica, son-in-law Ethan, grandchildren Shawna, Kristin (Kay Kay), and Ethan Jr. He was also survived by his sister Joan, brother-in-law Norm, brother Henry (Moe), sister-in-law Glenda, and brother Freddy. Nieces Maria and Angela (Tootsie) and nephews John, Tony, Greg, Henry, and Tommy.
He is preceded in death by his father Frederick (Reek), mother Charlotte, brother Joe (Stork), and nephew Vinnie.
