Dorothy J. Cassidy

Dorothy Josephine Cassidy, age 87, of Cincinnati, OH, departed this life on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Dottie Jo (née Wogenstahl) Cassidy was born on February 15, 1939, to Carrie and Paul Wogenstahl. In 1962, she married Robert Michael Cassidy, beginning a life centered on family, hard work, and generosity. As a working mother, Dottie Jo served as a strong, inspiring role model and the steadfast anchor of her household. Warm and welcoming, she opened her heart and home to everyone, leaving a lasting legacy of devotion as a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Robert; her children Pamela (the late Pat) Scott, Terri (Holly Smith-Conway) Holden, Sherri (Jeff) Davis, Timothy Cassidy, and Kelli (Guy) Abrams; her grandchildren Jodi (Jamie) Prows, Patrick Scott (Keoni Camacho), Stephanie (Bryan) Smith, Anna (Gary) Lohure, Brenden (Rebecca) Cassidy, Becca Davis (Jacob Schnurr), Tommy Abrams, Liam Cassidy, and Grace Cassidy (Johnathan Zehnder); her great-grandchildren Ashley (Cory) Havens, Emilia Smith, Owen Smith, Gary Lohure, Samuel Lohure, Luna Lohure, Jared Lohure, and Nora Cassidy; and her great-great grandchildren Miles Havens, Levi Havens, and Parker Havens. She was preceded in death by her parents and her eight siblings: Rose, Marian, Edwin, Carl, Paul, Joe, Sandy, and Michael. 

Visitation will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a service at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, Cincinnati, 45233, with interment immediately following at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
