Dennis J. Wallace

In loving memory of Dennis Jay Wallace, who was born on August 30, 1961, in Syracuse, New York, and passed away peacefully at home on October 15, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Dennis was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Connie, who stood by him in unwavering support and love. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family, including their daughter, Jessica, and her husband, Zach. Dennis was a proud and doting grandfather to Jayla and Bella, and a cherished dog dad to Hazel.

Family was at the heart of Dennis's life. Though predeceased by his parents, William and Mary Tinney, Dennis carried on their legacy of warmth and love. He leaves behind his siblings, Ken Wallace (Cris), Steve Wallace, Bruce Wallace (Michelle), and Mary George (Lee), who will forever hold him dear in their hearts. Cherished uncle to Angie, Chris, Sara, Amanda, Eli, Dylan, Alex, Nick and Rachel.

Dennis had a profound love of nature and found peace and joy in the great outdoors. His passions included fishing, camping, and hiking in the woods, where he felt most at home. An avid lover of animals and music, Dennis found beauty and harmony in the simple pleasures of life.

Known for his quick wit and infectious smile, Dennis had an extraordinary ability to bring joy to those around him. His friendships were treasured, and he frequently spoke of them with fondness. Among his closest friends were Tom, Scott, and Jan, his card-playing companions, who shared in countless hours of laughter and camaraderie.

Dennis's legacy is one of warmth, kindness, and an unwavering zest for life. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
