Deborah “Debbie” Howard (née Jasper) died peacefully on March 27, 2026 at 64 years young. Debbie is the daughter of Donald R Jasper and the late Patricia A Jasper. Debbie was blessed with 2 loves of her life. The first was her late husband Steve Howard, with whom she has 2 beautiful children, Derek Howard (Rosie) and Kara Howard (Michael). Her second great love is her wife, Lynne Myers. Debbie and Lynne have been together for 23 years and married for 9. With Lynne, Debbie shares the love of their honorary daughter, Ashley Savage. Being Grammy to Anastazia, Kaylese, and Samuel was a tremendous source of joy for Debbie. She was happiest when her world revolved around them! Debbie leaves behind 5 siblings: Dave Jasper (Terry); Dan Jasper (Candy); Patty Seitz (Brian); Peggy Jasper; and Donald Jasper (Kristen) as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Debbie was a hard worker, a very giving friend and family member. She found strength she did not even know she had when she was caregiver for Steve. Once she found that, she was first to offer her support to anyone who needed her… be it a ride, an ear, a hug or a hand. She always found a way to help.
Her children were her number one priority in just about all decisions and her grands were her glee. With Lynne, she found support in all things, peace, love and motivation to pursue the joys of every day life.
While it’s hard to say goodbye, we are happy that she is pain free and we look forward to seeing her again in God’s kingdom.
