Born August 29, 1945 to the late Rita and David Sabatelli. Passed at the age of 80 on February 19, 2026 surrounded by his family. Loving husband for 58 years to Sandra (Klosterman) Sabatelli. Father to Angela (Rick) Meese, Kristina (Kenneth) Rielag and Jennifer Sabatelli. Adoring grandpa to Nicholas and Kylie Rielag, Lauren and Jacob Meese and Natalie Sabatelli. Loving brother to Eileen (Larry) Vickery, Rose (Earl) Einhaus, Barb (Rick) Huber and the late Vincent Sabatelli. Dearest uncle to Anthony Vickery, Charity (Tony) Accurso, Colleen (Joshua) Smallwood, Ann (Charlie) Tinker and the late David Einhaus. Dad also had numerous friends and extended family that he loved very much. He was honored to be a part of the San Antonio Church Community.
Dad was a family man. He loved his family and was so proud of all of us. He and Mom built a wonderful life together full of love and happiness. The memories of family vacations, trips to Italy and countless other adventures will carry us through the difficult days ahead. Mechanical Engineer for P&G guided him to be absolutely meticulous in everything he did from building a T-bucket, home renovations, decks for all of us. You can guarantee everything was measured precisely. He was a fantastic chef and we couldn’t wait to try all his recipes one better than the rest. He loved to play golf, and looked forward to when we as a family played together always coaching us as we played. Dad was a proud parishioner of San Antonio Church, member of the United Italian Society, Sons and Daughters of Italy, and President of the Men’s and Ladies Club.
He was a lifeline for all of us in our time of need, our family and all who loved him will miss him immensely but are so proud to call him husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
