It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniel R Stacey, who left us on August 17, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 24, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Daniel lived a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience.
Daniel was the cherished son of the late Bob and Chris Stacey, and he carried their memory with love and pride. A beloved partner for 50 years, Daniel shared a remarkable journey with his former spouse and life partner, Shannon. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising four sons — Danny, Nick, Mike, and Joe — and welcoming into their lives daughter-in-law Claire and daughter-in-law-to-be Jennah and his grandson Vinny who brought him endless happiness.
A graduate of Northern Kentucky University, Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing. He worked in Sales before transitioning to the hospitality industry, where his warmth and charisma shone brightly. Even in retirement, Dan found joy in his cherished part-time work at Bill's Battery.
Dan "Stace" had a big, bright, beautiful, electric smile. He was a man of many passions, with a particular fondness for fireworks, which he shared enthusiastically with family and friends. Known for his quick wit, he was always ready to bring joy to those around him, his laughter echoing in the hearts of many. He was blessed with countless wonderful, cherished friends.
Daniel leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, survived by Shannon, Danny, Nick (Jennah), Mike (Claire), Joe his sisters Pam Stacey and Kelly Mowery(Josh), nieces and nephews Nicole(Jeff), Mick(Alyssa), Matt, and Samantha, and great-nephew and niece, Nick and Gianna. His family and his numerous precious friends will forever cherish his memory.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Dan's life will be held on August 21, 2026, from 3:00pm until the time of the prayer service at 5:00 PM at Radel Funeral Home, located at 650 Neeb Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45233. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Daniel’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project.
May Daniel rest in peace, embraced by the love of his family and friends, and forever remembered for the joy he brought into the world.
