Daniel P. Ryan

On August 3, 2023, the world bid farewell to Daniel Ryan, who leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories. At the heart of his being, Daniel was a devoted husband to his beloved and cherished wife, Patricia Ryan. He is survived by his beloved wife, his children, stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Daniel's absence will be felt profoundly by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Suzanne Ryan. Daniel's legacy extends lovingly to his children: Margaret Ryan and husband, Michael Collins; Mary Burke and husband, Jim Burke; Patrick Ryan and wife, Heather Ryan; Terry Ryan and wife, Erin Ryan; Kathleen Davidson and husband, Bob Davidson; William (Bill) Ryan and wife Alanna. His nurturing spirit and guidance have forever shaped their lives, and his memory will continue to thrive through the lives he touched. Daniel’s kindness also extended to his step children: Katherine Ghannam and husband, Riyad Ghannam; Martin Priore and wife, Nikki Priore; Michael Priore and wife, Brittney Priore. Beyond his devotion to family, Daniel was an engaged community member. His active involvement in the Pregnancy Center West, showcased his faith and his belief in the right to life, leaving an indelible impact on the lives he touched. In his professional life, Daniel first spent twelve years in the Chicago schools before a lifelong career in banking. Daniel was known for his sense of humor that could light up any room. His quick wit and genuine laughter were a source of joy for those around him, leaving lasting smiles on

the faces of friends and family.

A memorial to celebrate Daniel's remarkable life will be held from 9:30-10:30a.m. on August 7, 2023 with a visitation at Radel Funeral Home followed by a funeral mass at Our Lady of Victory Church at 11am. A reception immediately follows for all in

attendance at The Farm.
