It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cynthia "Cindy" A. Schneider (Nee Schwager), April 15, 2024 at the age of 68. She was loved and cherished by many.


Cindy was the beloved wife of Matt Schneider for 24 years. They were true soulmates. She lived life to the fullest, and was a joyful servant of our Lord. She had many passions. She loved her family, gardening, taking long walks, musical theatre and the Cincinnati Reds. She recently attended her 41st consecutive Cincinnati Reds Opening Day baseball game, and was a volunteer for The Reds Hall of Fame. She also enjoyed traveling, and was always looking forward to her next adventure. Cindy was a nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for 35 years. 


She was a wonderful daughter to the late Jerry and Jackie Schwager, daughter-in-law to Ferd and Barb Schneider, sister to the late Mark (Mary) Schwager, Marci (Mark) Hanneken, and Jenny (late Dan) Liming, sister-in-law to Mike (Jenny) Schneider and Marty (Sara) Schneider. 


Cindy was the favorite aunt to many nieces and nephews: Corinne (Ted), Amy (Eric), Adam (Megan), Emily (Cory), Nicholas (Emmeline), Abigail, Katie, Ben, George, Henry, Louie, Olivia, Noah, and Millie. She was also a favorite aunt to great nieces and nephews: Henry, Brody, Jordan, Claire, Graham, Carter, Jasper, and Sofia. 


Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, from 5-7 PM at Radel Funeral Home at 650 Neeb Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45233. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 23,10 AM at St. Catharine of Siena Church, 2848 Fischer Pl., Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
