Carletta M. Claxton

Carletta M. Claxton peacefully passed away on Monday September 14th at the age of 86 years young. Carletta is a Delhi Township resident and a devoted parishioner of St. Lawrence Church. Carletta was a nun for the Sisters of Charity for 12 years. Upon leaving the convent, she met her beloved husband George. They were married for 39years before George’s passing in 2015. As a lifelong teacher, Carletta loved seeing children learn and grow. She was an avid crafter, meeting regularly with her “Stamping Divas”. Carletta is predeceased by her parents Carl and Loretta Baumann Poth. She leaves behind several cousins, Rick Merschbach (Peggy), Cindy Merschbach Miller (Greg Miller deceased), Gary Merschbach (Celia), Jeanean Correll (Franklin) as well as her faithful companion Lady. Carletta’s generous nature, upbeat outlook on life and deep faith will be missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Monday September 21, from 830am until 930am at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd. 45233. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am St. Lawrence Church 

 In lieu of flowers, donations in Carletta’s name can be made to St. Lawrence Church (Price Hill) and Grace Hospice.
