Barbara Fassino (nee Snodgrass) passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 8, 2021. Barbara leaves behind her beloved husband, Michael, and four children: Ronald Ward, Jr. (Natasha Ward), Wende Ward-Lucas (the late Clint Lucas), James Ward (Darlene Ward), and Kellie Jim (Eness Jim, Jr.). She was a devoted Grandma/”Nani” to thirteen grandchildren: Christopher Neumann Ward (Christina), the late Julian Ward, Holly Ward, Abbi Sandmann, Brady Sandmann, Brey Presley, Kye Wood (Mandy), Alex Mechley (Nick), Michael Eilerman, Devon Jim, Taylor Eilerman, Justin Eilerman, Emme Jim. Barbara was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Annabel and Dakota. Additionally, she leaves behind her dear sister-in-law, Merlee Adkins (Gerald) and many cousins, nieces, nephews and very close friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Bernice Snodgrass. Barbara was a retired Vascular Technician from Jewish Hospital. She enjoyed traveling to her favorite locations including Charleston, SC and Gatlinburg, TN, as well as trying new destinations through their vacation club. She also enjoyed spending time shopping, dining and late night telephone conversations with her lifelong and devoted friends. Barbara was always very generous and made friends everywhere. She adored all of her family and each friend had a special place in her heart. Christmas was her favorite time of year in which she held an annual Christmas Eve celebration that she loved to host, creating special memories for everyone. A true animal lover, she rescued dogs throughout her life and left behind two golden doodles, Lucy and Pudge. Barbara will be greatly missed by all.



Visitation will take place from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, Cincinnati, Ohio on Friday, April 16, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church. During the visitation and funeral, we will abide by the regulations of social distancing and mask requirements.
