Raffaela Gentile
Raffaela Gentile, daughter of the late Antonio and Pasqualina Piemontese, sister of the late Gracia (Carmelo) Basile and the late Pepe (Olga) Piemontese. Sister in law to the late Frank and Natalio Gentile. Devoted wife of the late Gaspar “Tony” Gentile, Loving mother of Maria (Roger) Glandorf and Frank (Linda) Gentile. Doting grandmother to Roger (Carrie), Randy, Ann (Michael) Coates, Ryan, Ross, Angela Glandorf, Jackie (Mitch) Olsen, Courtney and Andrea Gentile. Cherished Nonna to Elsie, Edie, Erlend, Efrem, Ethel Agnes, Eli Coates, Roger August, Otto and Charles Glandorf, Owen Gentile, Henry, Dean and Anthony Olsen. Passed away peacefully on September 5, 2021. Raffaela was born in Fuscaldo, Italy and moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina with her family at a young age. Here she met and married Tony, and had two children. In 1963 her young family came to the United States, where she worked hard to learn the language and customs, never losing her own sense of self, and eventually becoming a United States citizen. Raffaela’s pride and joy were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an accomplished seamstress, her baking was incredible, and her meals the best to be had. She was meticulous in all that she did. She will be missed. Visitation will be at Radel Funeral Home on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 9:30am to 10:30am. Mass follows at Our Lady of Victory Church at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers please schedule a Mass in her name at your parish, St. Teresa of Avila Church, St. Dominic Church or Our Lady of Victory Church.

The family has requested that everyone in attendance to wear a mask.
