Joseph R Moody

On Friday, May 14th, 2021 Joseph R. Moody passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the age of 53 after a hard fought battle with lung cancer. Joe was a devoted husband and soulmate to his wife Kathy as well as a role model and mentor to his son Austin. In addition to his loving wife and son, Joe is survived by his mother Betsy (Steve), his sister and best friend Christine (Bill), his nieces Sheryl (Mike) and Kimberly and nephews Kenny (Krystle) and Alex, his mother-in-law Jo Ann Maus, Aunt Peggy and Uncle Ed Evans, Aunt Jane Rayls as well has 4 great-nephews and 4 great-nieces. He spent his time in comfort surrounded by his fur babies and birds, Bentley, Gizzy, Maggie Mae, Max, Cheyenne, Gus, Snookie and Carlton. Joe was a proud Army veteran and loved Harley Davidson motorcycles. His sense of humor was infectious and he will always be remembered for his kind heart and devotion to his family. Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Janie McFarland and his father, Kenneth R. Moody.


Public visitation will be held at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road in Delhi Township from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday, May 19th, 2021. Private visitation for family only is at 4 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. William Church, 4108 8th St. W. Cincinnati, OH 45205 on Thursday, May 20th. Please meet at Radel Funeral at 12 pm followed by procession to the church for mass at 1 pm. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, 4500 Foley Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238.
