John was Soul Mate, Husband, Father, Grand Father, Great Grandfather, Fellow golfer, golf course Ranger, CG&E Retiree, School Bus driver, friend and colleague to many. He lived life to the fullest for his 93 years, playing racquetball until his late 80’s and golf until his passing. When his children were young, he worked 3 jobs to make ends meet financially but he always made time to either coach or attend their sporting activities which included baseball, basketball, softball, as well as, dance recitals, swim meets and piano recitals. He continued to do this for his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren when ever possible adding flag football and soccer to his repertoire of sporting events. He himself was a proficient athlete participating in all sports from his youth to a senior in speed skating, football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, handball, racquetball and softball, competing on Senior Olympic teams in multiple sports and on traveling senior softball teams. But nothing meant more to John than family and friends. John never knew a stranger and anyone who met him never forgot him and he never forgot them.

He will be deeply missed by the people whose many lives he touched. We love him and we will miss him so much but we give thanks to God for the great blessing of his life and love.
