Edward (Tom) Herbe, Jr.

Of Cincinnati, OH & Plant City, FL passed away peacefully with family at his side on November 25, 2021 at 99 years of age. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 10, 1922. He is proceeded in death by his loving wife of 57 years Margaret (nee Luken) Herbe, his parents Edward T. Herbe, Sr. and Rose (nee Buettner) Herbe, and sister Mary Smith.

Tom is survived by his sister Dorothy (the late James) McGinnis. His children, Tom (Sibylle) Herbe, Fred (the late Deborah) Herbe, Ken (the late Beverly) Herbe & Peggy (Gary) Mattingly. His grandchildren, Justin (Phyllis), Alex, Krista (Tito), Amanda, Ashley (David), Kellie (Robbie), Rachel (Jay), Tyler, Jenna and 11 great grandchildren.

Tom was a veteran of WWII and served in the 383rd Anti- Aircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion from 1943-1945. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, and a life-long member of the Shademoore Park Association.

Visitation will be held on Weds. Dec. 1st from 5:00pm until 7:00pm held at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd. 45233. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thurs. Dec 2nd at St Lawrence Church at 10:00am

He will be dearly missed by his family and everyone who knew him.
