On Friday, April 7, 2023, Cecil E. Shelton (Brub), loving father, grandfather, son, sibling, and former husband; passed away at the age of 73, at his home.


Cecil was born in Albany, KY on November 30, 1949 to Roland Shelton(deceased) and Clara Shelton. Cecil was also preceded in death by his siblings, Michael Shelton and Lester Dale Shelton. He is survived by his three children; David Shelton, Kimberly Shelton and Casey Shelton; two grandchildren, Lucas Shelton and Garrett Shelton, siblings, J.D. Shelton (Jeanie) Alan Lee Shelton, Mitchell Shelton (Debbie), Phyllis Shelton, Danny Shelton, and Bill Shelton; former wife and mother of his three children, Lisa Shelton, his beloved companion “Bob”, as well as numerous other family members and friends.


Cecil spent the majority of his career as a Surveyor with Paul Burnside Company; Cecil was a Vietnam War Veteran, proudly serving his county in the Army, He was a member of St. Williams Church (Price Hill), and a huge fan of Elder High School. Cecil had a passion for politics, and was a huge Trump supporter; a big Elvis Presley fan, loved watching old Cowboy movies, and spending time on Facebook. Cecil cherished spending time with his grandson Garrett, and with his mother and family at Sunday dinners.


Visitation will be at Radel Funeral Service, 650 Neeb Rd, Cinti., Ohio 45233 (Delhi) from 12 p.m. to 1p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023; A funeral service/mass will follow at St. William Church, 4108 West Eighth St.; Cinti., Oh 45205 (Price Hill) at 1:15 p.m. Final resting place will be at New St. Joseph Cemetery.
